Jennifer is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the state of Michigan. As a family nurse practitioner, Jennifer has the training to provide care to patients of all ages. Jennifer’s proficiency is focused on health promotion, disease prevention and management, and diagnosis and management of a multitude of common and complex health care problems.
Jennifer began her nursing career in 2006 at the DMC, gaining 10+ years of experience in pediatrics while also really learning to treat the patient as well as families as a whole. Jennifer graduated with her MSN from Walden University in 2015. Jennifer continued to work at the Children’s hospital of Michigan and also started out her new career path as an FNP in the outpatient field of family medicine.
Jennifer strives to have a positive and significant impact in the health care field by using research and evidence based interventions while treating her patients. She focuses on health prevention, promotion, and maintenance and enjoys building trusting relationships with her patients and offering them the opportunity to take part in their care and in creating goals for positive outcomes.
